My husband has year round allergy, a friend told us that we should buy AirWaves Ozone UV Whole House IONIC Air Purifier. That will help relieve his allergy problem.

I saw an ad for these “ionic” light bulbs that are supposed to be air purifiers. Is there any scientific evidence that these actually work or are people being conned out of $20 per bulb?
Has anyone ever used an ecobox air-purifier?
If so, is it worth the money? I’ve used an ionic breeze for years but it’s done. I heard the ecobox is suppose to be amazing….. this was from a guy who sells them on the side.
