I’d be happy to hear if they really purify the air being it smoke filled air (cigarettes) or otherwise. What brands can you recommend for good purification of inside air?

I have really bad allergies and am looking into getting a Hepa Air filter/cleaner/purifier for just my bedroom (since I can’t afford to do the whole house).
Can you give me your opinions of which works well for you and the cost ?

I would like to spend no more than $250 for a purifier for my room (10 x 12). I have a lot of allergies that just have not gotten better. Looking for an ionic purifier as opposed to HEPA, but if you have information about either please let me know. Thanks.
